Day 5 brings an end to our teachers “1 Week of Wellness Staff Appreciation” week. Day 5 is about fruit! Some of us fear it… It has sugar, or it might have more calories than a sugar-free soda, a granola bar, crackers, etc.. The thing is… Fruit is real and it is packed with essential vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients that our body NEEDS. It wins over all the processed foods by a long shot. If we think more about feeding our body with nutrition rather than limiting calories we will naturally eat and crave differently and weight loss will follow. TRY IT!
