I’m Sierra, I’ve started Mindful Carrot with hopes to inspire, motivate, and help individuals, families, and our communities to live healthier and ultimately happier through mindful fitness and nutrition. If we can begin to make mindful choices one at a time the end result can be what you see when you close your eyes and imagine your ultimate goals. I’m a big believer in the compound effect… little things add up to big change! Whats your carrot? What motivates you? We all have a different answer but ultimately the end result is being healthier and happier. 20+ years ago I would have never guessed I’d be where I am. My vision was Africa and my carrot was working with the children of Rwanda. This is another story perhaps another blog. Bottom line – I studied International Affairs in order to make this vision real and along the way I fell in love. Love changes things… Fast forward a few years and I married the love of my life and very soon after welcomed our 1st of 3 daughters. I’m now 40 years old, married for 12 years, have 3 amazing daughters, and am absolutely in love with these people.
My carrot has changed, my vision is more local, but my heart still wants to serve people.
